Mousa J. Marafi

Until April 2002 and for 15 years, our President and CEO Mr. Mousa J. Marafi was Chairman and Managing Director of Heavy Engineering Industries & Shipbuilding Co. (HEISCO), a diversified 50 Million USD industrial company listed in Kuwait Stock Market employing around 5000 people with a solid track record and reputation in Shipbuilding, Ship Repair, Offshore Maintenance & Construction, as well as an extensive record in the execution of onshore capital engineering projects and maintenance contracts in the Oil & Gas (upstream/downstream), Petrochemical, Power Generation and Environmental Industries, with additional fabrication and manufacturing of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers and other industrial equipments.

In April 2002, Mr Marafi retired from the Chair and Board of HEISCO to create much needed time to develop EUROMAR to devote to his additional executive responsibilities in Kuwait and International arenas.

Mr Mousa J. Marafi is President & CEO of EUROMAR and Chairman of Eastern National Oifield Services Company which provides specialized services for the upstream Oil & Gas sector in addition a member of Board of Trustees of the newly founded Australian College of Kuwait. Over the past time Mr. Marafi has been a Board Director of several other companies and institutions in and out of Kuwait of which he is an Ex-Board Member of The Al-Ahli Bank in Kuwait and an Ex-Vice Chairman of Indo Gulf Fertilisers Ltd. In India.

Mr. Marafi is the President of a recently established Optima Consulting, a joint venture with RISC (Australia); AWT (Australia) and Genesis (UK), an Integrated Oil & Gas Field Exploration, Development and Management consultancy Specialist.
